VILLAGE SQUARES 35TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR

On October 15th the club held our 35th Anniversary Party.  To Commemorate
the occasion of the club’s many years, our Membership & Publicity couple
contacted the Provincial Government and managed to obtain a
“Certificate of Recognition” signed by Premier Dalton McGuinty. 
Paul and Judy, along with Karl Williscroft and his wife founded the 
club in 1973. Karl passed away a while back and his wife was invited 
to attend the occasion but was unable do to health problems. 
Copies of the Certificate were presented to Paul & Judy and a copy will be presented to Mrs Williscroft at a later date. A third copy will hang in the Roy Hobbs Community Centre.
